What is Bill-Pay?

  • Bill-Pay is a service provided by a third party for Pittsford Federal Credit Union members.
  • Members can choose to enroll in the service, and then schedule payment of their bills and transfer funds to other Financial Institutions.

What can you do with Bill-Pay?

  • Pay just about anyone - without writing a check
  • Establish recurring payments -- weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually.
  • Transfer funds to your accounts at other Financial Institutions
  • Set up your account to send e-mail reminders when bills are due
  • Set up your account to send e-mail summaries of your session activity
  • Select your payment date using our handy popup calendar
  • View a summary of your Bill-Pay status
  • Review scheduled payments
  • Reconcile recent payment activity

How much does it cost?

  • The service is FREE
  • There are fees, listed in the disclosure, associated with certain special requests.

How can I begin using Bill-Pay?

  • Login to your Internet Banking account
    (Not enrolled? Click here to enroll for Internet Banking Access)
  • Click on the Free Bill-Pay Link
  • Fill out the Online Enrollment Form.
  • NOTE: You MUST schedule your payments on the Bill-Pay System. The enrollment process does not automatically schedule your payments for you.

Disable Paper Statements Enroll eStatements

eStatements provide access to your monthly statement information online, over a secure Internet connection. eStatement participants will receive e-mail notification of statement availability - which will typically occur 3 or 4 days before paper statement availability.

With Pittsford FCU's eStatements you can:

  • Receive your statements sooner - eStatements will typically be available 3 or 4 days before paper statement availability.
  • Tax Forms - Visit eStatements to access your IRS 1098, 1099, and 5498 Tax forms.
  • VISA Year End Summary - A categorized summary of your previous years' VISA transaction history.
  • Choose to discontinue your paper statement. It will save you the chore of filing a private, sensitive document - something you don't want to simply toss in the trash. (Of course, in the event that you need paper statements, the credit union will provide hard-copy printed statements on request.)
  • Print the online version of your statement, using Adobe Reader.
  • View several months of history in the same place
  • Enjoy improved access to your account information. All of your account statements will be accumulated in one location and easily accessible. You will no longer need to sort through piles of paper statements.
  • Save your credit union a considerable amount of money - including the cost of postage, paper, envelopes, and printing.

To access your eStatements, simply log into internet banking and select eStatements from the main menu. To discontinue receiving paper statements, fill out this simple form.

Enroll eAlerts

With our eAlert service, you choose the account events that are important to you. Once enrolled, the eAlert system will notify you via email of all qualifying events, if any, that occurred on your account. You can choose to receive email or text alerts as the transactions occur throughout the day or receive a single email alert at the end of each day.

eAlert notices can be sent when:

  • A Direct Deposit or Withdrawal occurs
  • An ATM Transaction occurs
  • A Debit Card Transaction occurs
  • A check is returned for Non-Sufficient Funds
  • A check requires an Overdraft Transfer
  • A Certificate Redemption occurs
  • A transaction amount exceeds a value specified by you
  • Fees have been applied to your account
  • You schedule periodic balance updates
  • Your Balance drops below an amount specified by you
  • Your Balance rises above an amount specified by you
  • Your loan payment is due
  • Your loan payment is overdue

To customize your eAlerts, simply log into Internet Banking and select "eAlerts" from the main menu.

External Transfers

Transfer money between accounts you have with us and accounts you have at other financial institutions.

As much as we'd love to be your only financial institution, we realize that many of our members have accounts at other financial institutions. External Transfers offers you the flexibility and control to transfer money between your Pittsford FCU accounts and accounts you hold elsewhere. It's the easy way to move money between your verified* accounts:

  • Transfer funds externally with a few quick clicks.
  • Save time with no need to call or visit branches or write checks.
  • Schedule automatic, recurring transfers.
  • Transfer funds to or from any of 23,000  financial institutions.

With Popmoney you don't need to write a check or carry cash to pay people. It's similar to PayPal, where you can send money using just an email address. However, Popmoney has the added convenience of being right inside your password-protected online account. You can send money directly to just about anyone in the United States; all you need is their email address or cellphone number to:

  • Pay rent or roommates.
  • Cover shared expenses, like family-plan phone bills.
  • Reimburse friends.

To get started look for these services in the Move Money menu within Internet Banking. The first three Standard External Transfer and Popmoney transactions per month are free and $3.00 each thereafter. Other fees and limits may apply.

What to expect when making a Mobile Deposit:

  • The Mobile Deposit feature requires a checking account.
  • Once you have successfully transmitted your check image, you will get an on-screen "Deposit Received" message with an option to email a confirmation.
  • Please allow up to four (4) business hours for processing.
  • You will receive an email when your check image has been Accepted, Rejected or Adjusted for deposit.
  • The maximum Mobile Deposit is $10,000.
  • Any Mobile Deposit amount over $2,500 per day is subject to a five (5) business day hold.
  • Safeguard the deposited item(s) for at least 30 days before securely destroying them.

Every month, Pittsford FCU members are allowed 6 free ATM withdrawals per account. Each additional withdrawal transaction costs $2.00. Transactions completed at PFCU ATMs in our branches are not counted toward the 6 free transactions.
