Credit Card Conversion - FAQ

Why did I receive a new Pittsford FCU Visa Credit Card?

Pittsford FCU made a decision to upgrade our Credit Card Processing Platform in an effort to offer new options and benefits to our members. As such it was necessary to create new cards to ensure a successful transition.

When should I activate my new Pittsford FCU Visa Credit Card?

Please activate your card immediately, using the contact information provided with your replacement card.

How do I activate my new Pittsford FCU Visa Credit Card?

To activate your new card, call the phone number on the temporary sticker affixed to the new card from the primary phone number on your account. Be prepared to answer a few security questions.

What do I do with my old Pittsford FCU Visa Credit Card?

Please securely destroy your current card or bring it into one of our branches and we will shred it for you.

What if I have automated and/or recurring charges from vendors?

If you have automated and/or recurring charges set up with your current card you need to update those vendors with your new card information. Your replacement card includes a new account number, new expiration date and new CVV code.

Does Apple Pay still work?

Yes. However, you need to re-enroll for Apple Pay using your new card information.

When will Samsung Pay and Android Pay be available?

Samsung Pay and Android Pay will be available in October. We will announce the specific date once it has been confirmed.

Where do I make my payments?

Members may continue to make payments online or at either branch. If you choose to mail your payment, please use the following address:

PFCU Visa Payment Processing

PO BOX 37603

Philadelphia, PA 19101-0603

When is my payment due?

Payments are due on the first of each month beginning in October. Our long-standing policy of not charging any late fee for Visa Credit Card payments continues.

Will my scheduled transfer in Internet Banking still work?

Auto-transfers set up within Internet Banking to automatically pay your PFCU Visa Credit Card Bill each month were discontinued as part of the conversion process. If you want your payment paid automatically each month, please establish auto-transfer in Internet Banking, using your new PFCU Visa Credit Card number.

What if I use a bill pay service to make my payments?

Please update the payment address you’ve provided to any bill payment service. The new address is:

PFCU Visa Payment Processing

PO BOX 37603

Philadelphia, PA 19101-0603

Why isn’t my recent payment showing? It left my Checking/Savings account…

Payments will not be immediately reflected in your current balance on Internet Banking. Your balance will reflect any payments typically within 24 hours, but the delay may be as long as 48 hours. You can view your scheduled payment by clicking on your Visa account in Internet Banking. Depending on how you made your payment, your pending transaction is shown in one of two places – either as a Pending Authorization ('View Transactions' link) or as a Scheduled Payment ('Payments' link).  Your available balance reflects the amount of your pending payment.

Will I still receive transaction, balance and payment alerts?

Visa Alerts for our new PFCU Visa Credit Cards will not be available until later this year. We are working to be an early enrollee for the new service and we will provide updates as we learn more from our provider.

Thank you!

This conversion has created some inconvenience and interruption, but we’ve worked diligently for months to minimize the impact for our members. Our new solution provides new benefits for all PFCU Visa cardholders, and we’re excited to move forward rapidly following the completion of the conversion process.  We appreciate your continued support.
